Who: Rebekah Frimpong

What: Mama Africa Program was developed to assist non-profit organizations; clinics, schools, and community organizations support mothers in need in communities that lack the resources for expecting mothers or healthcare options for mothers in need. One of  the goals of the MaMa Africa program is to inform people of the critical need worldwide to provide better health options and care for mothers, especially those in need.

When and Where: 2010, New York, New York

How: The MaMa Africa program needs volunteers to help put packages together, send thank you letters, correspond with mothers, and be community advocates.  To learn how you can volunteer with MaMa Africa or assist with one of our programs please send an email tonewafricanhealth@gmail.com and list your interests and skills.  Check MaMa Africa’s Blog for dates on trips to countries, volunteer opportunities, information, updates, and more.
