Who: Naaimat Mohammed

What: Graduating with a Masters in Public Administration from Pace University was only the beginning for this young ambitious woman. As Community Outreach Liaison at Council member Helene Diane Foster’s office she is the driving force behind many  events such as the annual Community Enrichment Day and community programs such as the African Muslims Council. Her independent projects include an organization CommunityConnection.org  meant to facilitate  dialogue within youth and community groups through forums and radio teleconferences.

When and Where: December 2011; Bronx, New York

How: Support the African Muslim Council group by attending meetings which are held every Tuesday of the month at the Council members offices at 5:30. Join the group on facebook <https://www.facebook.com/groups/443035155611/&gt;
